{ Love wood letters }

Some wood letters from roberts, and some polka dot paper.
I tryed something different this time, I hot glued the paper to the letters instead of modge podging.

Cut the extra paper off from around the edges
and sanded the edges

then I painted the sides with a dark grey.

Hot glued some grey ribbon to the backs and then tied them at the top and hung them up in our bedroom above our bed.

Im not sure that im done with it quite yet, I think im going to hang them from a board.
But for now it will work just fine. :)

{ HO HO }

Wood letter. You can get these at Roberts, Michaels, Walmart, probably any craft store.
I like the ones from walmart because they are already painted white, and they are cheaper.

I painted the front surface red, and then I used the end of the paint brush to do the white polka dots.

I used clear nail polish and went over the polka dots, sprinkled white glitter on them.

Hot glue ribbon to the back of the letters.

This is what I have been up to lately,
Making card, making cards, & making cards.
I wanted to make all of my chirstmas cards myself this year.
& I love it!
I am going to start making a bunch of cards for christmas, thanksgiving, birthdays, etc...
and just have them on hand for when I need them.
{ Christmas Tree Ornaments }

I bought some clear ornaments from Roberts

Then I put christmas words on them using scrapbook rub-ons.

This is where it got interesting...im not exactly sure what I did, I kinda just experimented with Elmers glue, water, & white glitter.

I mixed 1 part glue with 3 parts water (I would recommend using 1 part glue and 2 parts water)

Poured the mixture into the bulb and then poured glitter into it, swirled it around untill the whole inside was covered.

I had to do it several times, I would let it dry for a while and the come back and do it again.

*Make sure you take the tops off first*

Im not a huge fan of gold (actually I hate gold!) so I painted the tops white, with craft glue.
Im sure white spray paint would work too.

I let everything dry overnight && hung them on my tree.

I think I still want to find some white stuff that looks like snow to put inside them too, to make the words pop out.

{Organizing my nail crap}

I love doing nails, and since I was bout six, me and friends use to do each others nails almost weekly well as we got older we went from the little stick on nails to glue to acrylic. I dont do them professionally but I do do my own nails and do them for my friends too. I use to keep my nail stuff in a plastic container but was over flowing massively and so I thought that tool box would be perfect.

well.....

This is what it looked like when I tore into it last night.

I bought this organizer from walmart for about $1.50

Cut up my sheets of decals to that they would fit into one square of the organizer.

Separated the nails into sizes

& Put all the random nails in here.

I bought some little containers from walmart & at work alot of out stuff is in little containers, so I keep them when they are empty to put mixed glitters in.

Put all the toe separators in a little container

Organized all the polish & other stuff

Then the top with my glitters, acrylic stuff, brushes, files, clippers & stuff like that.

That was a long time needed! feels so good to get that organized.

{ "Piggie" Bank }

I have a very very hard time saving money. If I have cash....its gone.
So i figured out a way to kinda make it easier for me to save money and make it harder to access to my money. Sooo I decided that I was going to seal up a cereal box and decorate it so I wont want to cut it open.
Im going to put all my looses change and all the extra cash I have in there && im not going to even think about opening it until it is clear full & then Im going to take it to the bank, open a new account give the number to jake and tell him to hide it from me. lol :)

{ Snow Letters }

I bought these wood letters at walmart for about $2 each
The snow flakes are from Roberts about $0.50 each

Blue & white paint $2 each
Brush on glitter $2
Foam brushes $1 for 4
Set of brushes $4

The letters were already white so I just painted the fronts light blue
& Painted the snowflake white.

Then I painted the brush on glitter onto the letters and used some white wet n wild loose glitter ( I use this mostly for acrylic nails but it works awesome for crafts too) I moge poged the snowflake and sprinkled the glitter onto it.Hot glued the snowflake to the letter....

let it dry and its finished.
This whole project was under $15& I still have tons and tons of paint, glitter, a snowflake, and a butt load of brushes.
