{Organizing my nail crap}

I love doing nails, and since I was bout six, me and friends use to do each others nails almost weekly well as we got older we went from the little stick on nails to glue to acrylic. I dont do them professionally but I do do my own nails and do them for my friends too. I use to keep my nail stuff in a plastic container but was over flowing massively and so I thought that tool box would be perfect.

well.....

This is what it looked like when I tore into it last night.

I bought this organizer from walmart for about $1.50

Cut up my sheets of decals to that they would fit into one square of the organizer.

Separated the nails into sizes

& Put all the random nails in here.

I bought some little containers from walmart & at work alot of out stuff is in little containers, so I keep them when they are empty to put mixed glitters in.

Put all the toe separators in a little container

Organized all the polish & other stuff

Then the top with my glitters, acrylic stuff, brushes, files, clippers & stuff like that.

That was a long time needed! feels so good to get that organized.

{ "Piggie" Bank }

I have a very very hard time saving money. If I have cash....its gone.
So i figured out a way to kinda make it easier for me to save money and make it harder to access to my money. Sooo I decided that I was going to seal up a cereal box and decorate it so I wont want to cut it open.
Im going to put all my looses change and all the extra cash I have in there && im not going to even think about opening it until it is clear full & then Im going to take it to the bank, open a new account give the number to jake and tell him to hide it from me. lol :)

{ Snow Letters }

I bought these wood letters at walmart for about $2 each
The snow flakes are from Roberts about $0.50 each

Blue & white paint $2 each
Brush on glitter $2
Foam brushes $1 for 4
Set of brushes $4

The letters were already white so I just painted the fronts light blue
& Painted the snowflake white.

Then I painted the brush on glitter onto the letters and used some white wet n wild loose glitter ( I use this mostly for acrylic nails but it works awesome for crafts too) I moge poged the snowflake and sprinkled the glitter onto it.Hot glued the snowflake to the letter....

let it dry and its finished.
This whole project was under $15& I still have tons and tons of paint, glitter, a snowflake, and a butt load of brushes.

{ Thrift Finds }

I found these for $1 each.
I cut a plastic bag to fit over the top part and taped it closed.
Then I spray painted the bottoms.

Some of the moss was falling off and you could see the glue, I bought some spanish moss from the dollar store a while back.
So I used moge podge to glue the spanish moss to the ball.

This is what my entertainment center looked like before.

Remember this... I also bought this mirror for like 2 dollars and spray painted the frame.

I bought these at walmart almost a year ago. I dont remember how much they were.
( I can tell you that they were cheap though, or else I wouldnt have bought them)

I busted out the spray paint again.

I filled them half way with newspaper and the rest with spanish moss.
Then put a candle in it.

Stuck the mirror and the tapestry on the entertainment center along with them.

Im not so sure I like it better now.... but I will have to set on it and think... :)
It was fun though.
I still need to move the star up.

{Plant pot}
The original color of the pot.
I spray painted it black.

The moge podge some scrapbook paper to it & moge podged the whole thing to seal the paper on
{ I used the glossy moge modge to make my pot have a shine to it}

Finished.

I still need to put soil in it and plant my plant.

{Frame Re-do}

picked this frame up at DI for $1.00
& I wasnt too fond of the stars so...
I decided to re-do it.

I picked orange scrapbook paper and cut it to fit.

I moge podged the paper to the frame.

Then I did a coat of moge podge over the whole thing to seal it there.

Cut some ribbon and paper to cover where the "sames" were.

Moge podged the strips and ribbon on.
And then your done. Easy!
